This page explains what we collect, what we don't, and what happens with any information you share. It's written in plain English on purpose.
What we collect when you use the quiz
When you take a quiz, we record which options you selected and how you moved through the questions. We use this to understand which results people reach most often and whether any questions are confusing. This data is not linked to your name, your device, or your email address unless you give us your email separately.
We also collect basic analytics: which page you came from, what type of device you're using (phone or computer), and roughly what country you're in. This is standard for most websites. None of it identifies you personally.
What we don't collect
We don't collect your name. We don't ask for your address or phone number. We don't build a profile of you over time. We don't use tracking that follows you to other websites after you leave ours. We don't sell data to anyone.
What happens if you give us your email
At the end of the quiz, there's an optional field where you can give us your email address to have your two fixes sent to your inbox. If you do this, we use your email only for that purpose — delivering the result you asked for, and occasional follow-up guides if you've agreed to receive them.
We never sell your email address. Every message we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link that works immediately.
Who we share with
If you give us your email, it's stored with the email service provider we use to send messages. That provider sees your email address and the date you signed up — nothing else. If we use a third-party analytics service (such as Plausible or a similar tool), that service receives the anonymized usage data described above.
We don't share data with advertisers. We don't have advertisers.
How to ask us to delete your data
If you gave us your email and want us to remove it from our list, send a message to hello@[domain] with the subject line "Please delete my data." We'll remove your record within seven days and confirm when it's done.
For analytics data: because it's anonymized and not linked to you, we can't isolate and delete a single person's analytics events, but we can confirm that it contains no identifying information.
